Hands-on: Haiku Alpha 3 on a netbook running

The haiku open-source software project, building a clean-room implementation of the BeOS platform, has released its third alpha version. The new version over the weekend was made available, and offers advanced hardware support, better stability and a host of new features. Haiku Alpha 3 have I in VirtualBox and tested on my HP mini NetBook.

BeOS was one of the most advanced desktop computer platforms of the 90s, but it not mainstream acceptance. Are assets were sold, Palm and finally the Japanese browser vendor access ended up in the hands.
